API5L L245 PSL1 A106-B/SA106B A53-B/SA53-B Seamless/Welded Carbon Steel Pipes,API 5L Grade B Pipes are engineered to meet the demanding requirements of the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.
API 5L Grade B pipe is a common grade pipe for oil and gas pipeline transmissions. It also called L245 Pipe refer ISO 3183, named by minimum yield strength 245 Mpa (35,500 Psi). Equivalent material ASTM A106 B or ASTM A53 B, which have similar value on chemical composition, mechanical properties, and applications.
API 5L B covers PSL1, PSL2, Sour Services, for onshore and offshore pipelines. Manufacturing types including seamless and welded.

Ends design:
1) Bevel the welding ends to an angle of 30°, +5°, -0°, with a root face of 1/16", +/- 1/32". The bevel shall form a V groove with an included angle of 60°+10/-0. The root opening shall be 1/16", +/- 1/32" according to ANSI B16.25.
2) Plain or straight ends.
3) Threaded ends with coupling or without coupling according to API Spec. 5B.
